North South University

North South University (NSU) is considered the best private university in Bangladesh. It had been established under the private university act (PUA) in 1992. This university has a vision of amalgamation of students, scholars, researchers, and scientists from around the world. It follows the American system of higher education. It has a semester system calendar with credit hours. It has a strong collaboration with twenty foreign universities from different regions of the world. NSU also has an international advisory board consisted of administrators and professors around the world. At present NSU is managing its educational program under four schools - School of Business, School of Life Science, School of Applied Science, and School of Arts and Social Science. Under these schools there are several programs- BBA, MBD, EMBA, Biotechnology and Microbiology, Pharmacy, Public Health, EEE, CSE, Architecture, Environmental Science and Management, Economics, English, and General Education. Approximately 16,000 students are attending several programs under 234 Academic staff at present.
